Helen L. Marlette has signed a letter of support for the survivors of the the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting calling for the president and legislators to work for changed gun laws.
In signing, she joined approximately 150 other heads of New York State independent schools whose names appear on the full page letter which will be published in the New York Times on Sunday, Feb. 25.
"I believe we can do better," Mrs. Marlette said today. "We can support both our Constitution and protect our schools and our students."
