Buffalo Seminary is an independent day and boarding high school for college-bound girls. Founded in 1851, SEM is located in the historic Elmwood Village neighborhood of Buffalo, New York and is registered on the National Register of Historic Places. Our five student and faculty residences are renovated historic homes adjacent to our school building. Buffalo Seminary seeks a full-time teacher of Biology with a start date of August 2018. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Science with a primary focus on Biology and if possible a secondary focus on Chemistry. The position will teach 3 sections of General Biology and 1 section of Honors Biology. Applicants should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, though Master's degree is preferred in an appropriate field. Experience teaching non-native English speakers is also preferred.
