Buffalo Seminary takes great pride in celebrating the achievement of our students. Adhering closely to our mission of providing a superior education for young women, the school formally recognizes girls in the senior class for high academic achievement each year. Those seniors with the highest achievement were honored with membership in the Cum Laude Society at an induction ceremony on Monday, December 7, 2015.

TojumiOluw Adegboyega, Abigail Hopkins, Helen Marlette, assistant head of school, Anabel Cornacchio, and Kaitlin Hughes

Our speaker was Meg Quinn, the artistic director at Theater of Youth.

Later in the spring, on Class Day, a second group of seniors with high academic achievement will also be honored by induction into the Cum Laude Society.

The Cum Laude Society is a national organization of over 300 chapters in both public and independent schools. Cum Laude membership is based solely on academic achievement. The requirements of Cum Laude permit schools to induct up to 20% of the senior class.
